Xiaomi continues to introduce new products in the market with its latest model coming from one of its smart TV series.
According to a report from Gadgets360, the Chinese tech company launched the new 40-inch Mi TV 4A smart TV. The product is part of Xiaomi's Mi TV 4A series that come with a voice-control-supporting remote. The TV's 40-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixel) panel adds another option for consumers who want something in between the 32-inch and 50-inch models from the same series.
Some of the other key specs of the smart TV include a 64-bit 1.5GHz Amlogic L962-H8X processor and a 750MHz Mali 450 GPU with 1 GB RAM plus 8 GB of internal storage. It also sports direct type backlight, 5000:1 static contrast ratio, and a direct type backlight. When it comes to connectivity, it features HDMI (2), AV (1), analogue signal DTMB (1), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 + LE, USB (2), and Ethernet.
Meanwhile, a report from Firstpost said that the TV's remote control comes with an artificial intelligence voice control feature that allows the viewers to select commands using their voice. The remote sports a special microphone button designed for the voice command option.
Swinging over to India, Xiaomi is also slated to launch the new Mi LED Smart TV 4C this week. Gadgets360 also reported that the smart TV is already listed on the official website of Xiaomi India. The 43-inch TV is priced at Rs. 27,999 and was first launched in China back in October of last year. As for the specs, the Mi LED Smart TV 4C comes with a Full HD panel, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage.
Furthermore, it will also showcase 9mm ultra-thin bezels, and a quad-core Amlogic T962 64-bit chipset, capable of providing support for Bluetooth 4.2, Dolby, and Wi-Fi. In addition, it will also have HDR 10 support, and a Mi Bluetooth Remote Control, which, incidentally, is sold separately.
